Wendy McAdam
Wendy McAdam is a coach and facilitator who helps individuals and groups plan and problem-solve. She focuses on getting to the heart of what matters by identifying patterns, cultivating awareness and acceptance, addressing underlying obstacles, and applying intentional choices.
As a facilitator, Wendy works with clients to develop agendas that allow groups to discuss and strategize issues that are important to them and develop action plans for success. Wendy sees her role as managing the group process to free participants to use their collective expertise to arrive at their best decisions.
As a personal coach, Wendy believes in the Coactive Coaching cornerstones:
- that everyone is naturally creative, resourceful, and whole;
- that people do not need to fixed;
- that people are their own experts;
- that the client-coach relationship is a partnership for focusing on the client’s agenda and moving the client forward into the best life possible.
Wendy is trained in Co-Active Coaching and in the Institute of Cultural Affairs’ (ICA) and other facilitation and strategic planning techniques. She has been a consultant since 1996 and has over twenty years experience in planning, coordinating and organizing events. Wendy’s other specialties include relaxation techniques, yoga and insight meditation.
