David Church
David Church, Wildwood’s president, is a facilitator and organizational development consultant with twenty-five years of management experience. David established Wildwood Consulting in 2001 to specialize in designing and leading participatory processes of organizational change.
David has planned and facilitated hundreds of workshops for groups as large as four hundred. An experienced public speaker, David frequently makes presentations on organizational change, the role of governing boards, and related topics.
Before starting Wildwood Consulting, David was Director of Education and Communication Services with the Manitoba Association of School Trustees (1988 to 2001). As director, David was responsible for training school board members and developing boards’ capacities to address emerging issues, planning conventions and consulting on processes to support all the public school boards in Manitoba.
In addition to a Masters in Human Systems Intervention from Montreal’s Concordia University, David also has Bachelor of Arts and a certificate in Creative Communications. In 2006 David will obtain certification as an Advanced Facilitator from the Institute of Cultural Affairs Canada, and as a Certified Professional Facilitator from the International Association of Facilitators.
